Arbour Development Plan Consultation
Farnhill Parish Council were gifted a piece of land known as the Arbour in 1966. It was agreed by covenant with the grantor that the land be used as a recreation ground for the benefit of the Parish of Farnhill.
It is the intention of the Parish Council to carry out some work to make the area more accessible for people to enjoy. The work intended is identified in the Arbour Development Plan shown at the link below and the Parish Council would like to consult with residents of the village about the proposal and to hear their opinions.

PLANNED ROAD CLOSURE NOTIFICATION – 28316 A629 Kildwick Bridge
Temporary Road Closure A629 Kildwick Bridge 25th Jan -19th February Night Time 6pm-6am for urgent bridge repairs. The Closure will be in place for a period of 26 nights between 25th January 2021 and 19th February 2021.

A remote meeting of Farnhill Parish Council will be held on the 27th August 2020 at 7.30pm. If anybody would like to attend the meeting please contact the Clerk at clerk @farnhillpc.org.uk to request an access code.

FARNHILL PARISH COUNCIL MEETING 26TH MARCH
Farnhill Parish Council will be holding a short meeting on Thursday 26th March to carry out urgent business and to consider delegating the Clerk to do anything expedient and necessary to ensure the continuous business of the Council and to deal with mandatory undertakings in order to prevent the authority from incurring liability during the period that the delegation is applicable. The Clerk will consult with the Chairman/Vice Chairman during this period.
Due to recent circumstances with the Coronavirus Pandemic and to protect the public the meeting will be closed to members of the public.
All future meetings will be cancelled till further notice.

Wheels to Work
Problems travelling to work, training or education? Wheels to Work (a not for profit charity) has a fleet of mopeds for loan. Since its launch in 2001 over a thousand local people have benefited from the scheme.
Successful candidates receive a moped, safety equipment, insurance, tax and bike servicing for a small weekly contribution. To be eligible for the scheme you must:
- Live in North Yorkshire
- Be 16 or over
- Have no suitable transport to travel to work, training or education
- Hold a provisional license
